My parents were so lovely,
Never had I seen a match as heavenly,
The love they shared so godly,
Ken and Barbie of our time.
A couple revered by all,
Fairly emulated by few,
Consistent and loving was my dad,
Understanding and humble, my mom.
Sadly, this did not last long.
They let the seed of discord have the best of them.
Now, irresponsible was my dad,
Nagging my mom,
A harmonious couple became unreasonably dramatic.
Family tried to save,
Counsellors tried to save,
Pastors made a prayer point,
Yet, salvation was far from them.
DIVORCE WAS THE ONLY SALVATION THEY COULD GET.
