The prevalence of fraudulent activities align with indulgence from a gullible and greedy majority.
Recently, a multitude have been cheated off of their hard earned money by supposed online petit traders.
“The goods I ordered three months ago, have not been delivered to me till date” a business man recounted furiously.
For the most part, these criminals display articles or ideas that meet the interest of the people. To foster credibility, they manipulate their victims by displaying fake bank alerts in forums and communities they create.
Although many now frown at this practice, the quest for an easy lifestyle by a majority has opened doors for these swindlers. Most times, people prefer receiving goods or services at their doorsteps at exorbitant prices than shopping these items personally on a budget.
“I cannot bear the stress of shopping when there are many vendors who can get everything delivered to me” a lady said.
Most people have ended up penniless because of such mentalities. Some will blame gullibility, and others, pride.
In some cases, some sell goods at a low cost to get more victims. Even though some people have more than what they need, they still make payments to get things at lower prices and end up losing their hard earned money.
