What was the hardest personal goal you’ve set for yourself?

As a child, I prayed always. But, I departed from that culture. And now, building a steady prayer life as an adult has been challenging for me.

Most times, I find communication with people easier than spending a second with God.

Aiming to pray fervently is one of the hardest goals I set for myself. Yet, the most interesting discovery in my life was knowing that God is omnipresent and He does more than we say.

Thus, I decided to take baby steps, pray for His grace to pray and do my best to get closer to Him again. Yet, this has not been easy because of the sacrifices I have to make. I have had to sacrifice my fun moments and many other things to pray.

I’ve had to say no more often to people and say yes to God more often. I guess this is what makes things more difficult.

Notwithstanding, it is worth it. And, I know I’ll get the best out of my goal to make conscious efforts to pray to God more often.
