Humanity is imperfect from creation. Yet, the hope for perfection is manโs greatest strive which sadly, has remained futile.
Religious leaders guide the faithful in the path of righteousness necessary for their salvation as they assist them to lead a holy life.
Despite being brought to the position to serve and save, they are human. As leaders of the truth, they need us as much as we need them.

Man is a subject to temptation and withstanding temptation is staying fervent in prayer to be backed by saving grace.
It is important to note that as lay people have weaknesses, the clergy are not exempted. Crucifying them for their flaws is uncalled for.
As humans, they sin as much as we do and praying for them to detach themselves from all impurities is our duty.
Even though humanity is greedy, they make a way for us to right our wrongs. Hence, they deserve double of our prayers. As they make it easy for us to get closer to God, we should be kind enough to pray for them to benefit from that same love of God. Thus, creating a safe space for them to be themselves while mentioning them in every word of prayer, will help them carry out their duties with ease.
In sum, praying for our leaders will encourage them to be the best of themselves. Our prayers will make them stand out and give them the grace to speak the truth in all odds so that the will of God will be done in their lives.
